Beloved wife of the late Frederick William Hogg. (d. 2010) Loving mother of Robert and Bradley. Proud grand mother of Matthew and his wife Kylie. Arrangements entrusted to W.C. Town Funeral Chapel. Scott ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Passed away peacefully with love by his side at the Lakeridge Health Oshawa, on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 - in his 72nd year. He was a dedicated, beloved partner and adventure guide to Nadine Yeo, who enthusiastically shared their great journey. Scott was predeceased by his wife Patricia, his son Mathew and his parents Larry and Vera Henderson of Medicine Hat, Alberta. He was a very loving brother of Kim (Harvey 'Zack') Bernbaum of Calgary - both of whom he deeply cherished. He was the proud and loving uncle of Talia Bernbaum (Robert Birrell) of Calgary and Piper Bernbaum (Connor O'Grady) of Ottawa. Scott will be lovingly remembered for his warmth and understanding by his extended family, many relatives and his vast network of friends near and far. As a Family Physician in Whitby for over 30 years, his most memorable aspect of his medical career was delivering babies and being the team doctor for the Oshawa Generals. He loved the interactions with all his patients and relished being referred to as "Doc". To say Scott lived life to the fullest would be an under- statement. He was passionate about sports - both playing and an avid fan. Growing up close to the Rocky Mountains of Alberta, it was only natural that he became a highly skilled downhill skier, eventually joining the ski patrol and rubbing elbows with Olympians. In his University days Scott played with the University of Calgary Dinos football team and after moving to Ontario, became an enthusiastic golfer (WNGL, Probus), an avid hockey player with the Durham Bulls and Docs on Ice. He also truly enjoyed being an ardent member of the Whitby Curling Club. Further, Scott loved art, deeply enjoyed travel and cherished time with friends and extended family. His truly dynamic and convivial personality could light up a room - the world has lost a bright light that will forever be missed. Family and friends will be received at Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby (North of Hwy 2) 905-443-3376 on Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service in the chapel at 2:30 p.m. For those who wish to attend the memorial service via livestream, a link will be provided in the online obituary where memories and notes of condolence may be shared at www.mountlawn.ca. We are sad within our memory, lonely are our hearts today; for the one we loved so dearly has forever been called away. We think of you in silence, no eye may see us weep; but many silent tears are shed when others are asleep. Always so good, unselfish and kind none on this earth your equal I'll find. Honorable and true in all your ways, loving and faithful to the end of your days
