For the 2022 Municipal Election, eligible electors can vote at any one of the designated Advance and Voting Day voting locations listed, regardless of where your qualifying address is within the Town. Choose the location that is most convenient for you and remember to bring your Voter Notification Card (in mail early October) and acceptable ID that includes your name and qualifying address in the Town. The 2022 Municipal Election will use a paper composite ballot which will include all certified, registered candidates for Whitby Town Council, Regional Chair and School Board Trustees. For a complete list of registered candidates, visit whitby.ca/Vote SPECIAL MAIL-IN BALLOTS If you are unable to attend one of the designated voting locations listed above you may apply to receive a special mail-in ballot. In order to receive a special mail-in ballot, electors must submit an application to the Office of the Town Clerk. Applications will be available starting September 1, 2022. Starting on September 1, 2022, electors can visit whitby.ca/PlanYourVote to add themselves to the Voters' List or correct and update their elector information. Electors can also submit an application to be added to the Voters' List or correct and update their information in person at the Office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, 575 Rossland Road East, at any Whitby Public Library Branch, or at any Voting Location during the Advance Vote period or on Voting Day.
