The site tracks sales for the previous 30 days and found that overbidding hit up to $79,000 on the median home, tough overbidding was modest in most Durham nighbourhoods. SAMAC -- $742,500 MEDIAN SELLING PRICE The Samac neighbourhood is located in north Oshawa between Conlin and Taunton roads in the vicinity of the Durham College and Ontario Tech campus. Based on 16 sales, median bidding was $5,100 above market value with homes on the market an average of 11 days. LAKESIDE -- $931,100 MEDIAN SELLING PRICE Located in Ajax along the most eastern part of the waterfront, the Lakeside neighbourhood saw median bidding prices $10,000 over market value, with seven sales and homes on the market an average of 17 days. WESTNEY HEIGHTS -- $961,000 MEDIAN SELLING PRICE The Westney Heights neighbourhood is located in northwest Ajax between Taunton Road and Hwy 2. Median overbidding was $79,100 on 10 sales with homes on the market an average of seven days. LYNDE CREEK -- $885,000 MEDIAN SELLING PRICE Located between Hwy. 401 and Rossland Road in west Whitby, the Lynde Creek neighbourhood saw median bids $20,200 above market with eight sales. The average time on market was seven days. LIVERPOOL -- $1,058,308 MEDIAN SELLING PRICE The Liverpool neighbourhood is located in central Pickering in the Liverpool Road area north of Kingston Road. Buyers in the area overbid by a median of $7,500 in the last 30 days. Ten homes were sold with an average of seven days on the market.
