The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to Algonquin Provincial Park on May 28 just after 9 a.m. for a single-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a moose on Highway 60, near Minnesing Mountain Bike Trail. A motorcyclist was travelling east on the highway and saw a moose crossing the road ahead. The motorcyclist tried to stop, lost control and was ejected, the OPP noted.
