All Saints Catholic Secondary School raised the most of any high school in Ontario in 2021 with a total of $56,769.45 for the Terry Fox Foundation. The Terry Fox run is a long-standing tradition at All Saints -- this was the 17th year the school has participated. Over 17 years, All Saints students, staff and families have raised more than $450,000 to support cancer research in Canada through the Terry Fox Foundation. "We are so appreciative of our school community, and especially to our dedicated staff, who volunteer their time and efforts to participate in this community-building event each year. The Terry Fox School Run is such a meaningful event as it is about community commitment, action, compassion, celebration and hope" says All Saints principal Chris Cuddy. This year, the student council at All Saints planned several fundraising activities, including a Terry Fox walk/run, pep rally, hair donations, dodge ball tournament, food trucks and carnival games. Michael Mazza, executive director of the Terry Fox Foundation, says the organization is "very grateful for the tremendous fundraising effort" at All Saints.
