In the latest incident, a victim looking to sell a cell phone through an online app was robbed at knife point, police said. Similar incidents occurred in the same area on March 2 and Feb. 21, according to police. In the other incidents, people who had arranged to sell items to a buyer they met online were confronted by a suspect with a knife. A 16-year-old male from Whitby is charged with uttering threats, weapons possession and three counts of robbery. His identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
