Muriel (nee Stephenson) of Seagrave, beloved wife of the late Bill Fitze. Loving mother of Corey Pomerleau (the late Mike), LeeAnn MacKay (Barry) and the late Kimmy Perrin and step-mother of Juliee Fitze, Dororthy Stephens (Alan Hayes and the late Rodger Stephens), Tracy Vyfschaft (Carl) and Mark Fitze (Shelley). She will be lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Dear sister of Joey Stephenson, Carol Ross, the late Shirley Cronin and the late Donna Mastroianni. Muriel will be missed by her extended family and many friends. After 4 short months, Ruth is reunited with her beloved husband of over 67 years, John. Lovingly remembered by her children Raymond (predeceased in 2021) and his wife Lynn, Katherine Lawson, David and his wife Lisa, and John and his wife Juanita. Adored Grandma/Omi of Shaun (Jennifer), Ian (Sara), Jameson, Arden, Benjamin and Myla and Great-Grandma of Alexander (Xander) and the late Hunter. Ruth was predeceased by her sisters Edith, Gertrude and Monika. Ruth loved to be active in both communities she lived in, Kapuskasing and Bowmanville. She spent many hours volunteering with church choirs and Horticultural Societies, as well as being long time members in the Catholic Women's Leagues and the Royal Canadian Legion. During her years in Bowmanville she spent time at the BOAA where she enjoyed many lunches, countless card games and fun field trips. In her later years Ruth called both Seasons and Hillsdale Estates home and she enjoyed her years there. A Memorial Service will be held at ST. Predeceased by her loving husband Frank (2019). Beloved mother of Carl (Ellen) and Susan (Tom Parsons). Adored grandmother of 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Born in Nässjö, Sweden, Akke and his family immigrated to Canada in 1972. Akke, beloved husband for 62 years to Ulla (née Lindh), loving father to Johan (Lauren), Sonja, grandfather to Ashley (David), and Amanda (Michael). Akke was also a very proud great grandpa to Lucia, August, Freja and River. Akke had a great positive impact on many, both in his work life and also in the community as he served faithfully in his local church. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Geraldine Trull and the late Muriel Kathleen Trull. Lewis is loved and fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Lewis began working at GE Canada, Peterborough; then joined the RCAF and served overseas during WWII. After many years in a fulfilling career, he retired from H.M. Brooks (Oshawa) Ltd. Lewis was a man of many talents, skills and rarely idle. He was a builder, renovator, repairmen; and always willing to help family with any projects. Lewis was very creative, crafty and had beautiful gardens for everyone to enjoy. He had a love for boating, building several boats, having a sentimental fondness for 'The Newfie'. Lewis enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending special times with his sons and friends. He thoroughly enjoyed sports whether it was as a participant, fan or being in the stands supporting family. Community always mattered to Lewis, attending the local church, celebrations and being there for his neighbours. Family was closest to Lewis's heart, cherishing all the special times spent together that have created wonderful lifelong memories. Lewis's legacy will always live on in everyone's hearts.
