Friday, April 1, 2022 3Brooklin Town Crier Spring is finally here and that means the Brooklin Spring Fair is back. We will see you on the fairgrounds from June 2 through June 5. Your old favourites will return along with many improvements, too. Do you know the difference between beef and dairy cows? How do bees make honey? Come visit Agriland and learn about agriculture and its importance to our community and our future. After all, the Fair is hosted by the Brooklin Agricultural Society. Super fans will want to take in the Demolition Derby on Thursday and Saturday nights. The Tractor Pull will wake up the neighbourhood on Friday as we watch the muscle on the track. Although it's not our first rodeo, we are pleased to welcome back the RAM Rodeo family on Sunday afternoon. New marketplace Submit an item to Homecraft and view it on display throughout the grounds. Visit the Little Shoppes on the Fairgrounds and see what this new marketplace has to offer. Thrill seekers will want to head to the Midway for the rides, sights and sounds. There will also be plenty of entertainment for everyone including live music in the Back40 featuring Two for the Show on Friday and Saturday nights while the buskers will return to the Courtyard stage throughout the weekend with a fabulous fire show in the evenings. Special activities are still being developed for the arena and other areas of the Fair. Earlier parade We cannot wait to share it all with you. In fact, we are so excited we decided to kick-off our week of fun with the parade on a new day, Saturday, May 28, the weekend before the Fair. We want all our volunteers and the folks involved in making the event happen to participate in the parade tradition without compromising the Fair's fun events. Having the parade the week before also gives the added benefit of extending the fun leading up to opening day. While we've been planning for a while, there are still a few details we're working on.
