Dan will be practising family law and wills and estates law. He will be assisted by Michelle Millson, a proud Brooklin resident who has worked in family and wills and estates with us since 2009. Dan grew up in Whitby and obtained his BA (Hons) with distinction in Criminology from UOIT in Oshawa. He continued his education in graduate school at the University of Leicester (UK) where he was awarded a Master of Science degree in Criminology, specializing in the study of terrorism and global security. After completing his initial studies, Dan embarked on his dream of serving our country in the Canadian Armed Forces. In 2014 he enlisted in the Canadian Army and was ultimately posted to CFB Kingston at the Canadian Forces Joint Signal Regiment, where he served for four years. Upon the completion of his military service, Dan returned to the United Kingdom and the University of Leicester to study law. In 2020, he received his LL.B. Dan completed his articles with Aruna Persaud of Hills Nolan in 2021 before being called to the Bar in February this year. We look forward to continuing to work with Dan, and welcome him officially to the Hills Nolan family. Our senior real estate clerk Ted Groves is particularly happy to finally have a male colleague.
