23 KERSTENS, Lorraine Arlean Nancy (nee Schram) July 27, 1957 - January 22, 2022 ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lorraine Kerstens, in Kingston, ON, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter-in-law, sister, aunt and friend. Lorraine was the beloved wife of 36 years to Terry. Loving mom of Kyle Kerstens (Kaitlyn) and Ryan Kerstens (Taylor), and devoted grandma of Winnie. Treasured daughter-in-law of Gerry Kerstens. Lorraine will be lovingly remembered by her brother Frank Schram (Jan), and their daughter Autumn (Ryan and son Easton), sister-in-law Betty- Anne (Steve), and their children Kersten, Connor and Cameron, brother-in-law Martin (Janice) and children Brandon (Geoff), Matthew (Brittany), Kristen and Alex, as well as many friends. Lorraine left us with beautiful memories. She lit up every room she walked into. She was kind, full of energy and loved being active. Always on the move and did everything to the fullest. Jane passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 15th, surrounded by her family at Simcoe Hospice after a courageous two and a half year battle with brain cancer. She is survived by her husband and best friend of over fifty years, Wayne Paeden. Dear mother of Craig Paeden (Angele Guillemette) and Angie Paeden-Platt (Ryan Platt). She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Madi Paeden, Jack Paeden, Rianna Platt, Johnny Platt, and Ashlyn Guillemette. Predeceased by her father Buck Cowle and remembered fondly by her siblings Nancy Cowle, Dan Cowle, and Vicki Cowle and her mother Bonnie Cowle. Jane's many nieces and nephews, and dear friends will remember her for her big heart, infectious laugh, vibrant energy, active lifestyle and her love for sunrises, sunsets, beaches, and palm trees. Jane loved spending time with family and friends. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Jane always put others before herself and had an innate desire to care for others leading her to her career as a Life Enrichment Coordinator at Victoria Manor. Living life to its fullest, she and Wayne spent their winters in their home away from home in Sarasota, Florida and travelled to many different places in the past several years. Jane could often be found on the pickle ball court or playing with her grandkids. She will be greatly missed by the many lives she touched. A celebration of life will take place in the spring. Eileen was the beloved wife of the late John Noble for 39 years and was predeceased by her daughter Ruth Anne. She will be forever loved and missed by her children Kerry (Shelagh), Sharon, Sandra (Vaughn), Kevin (Christina) and Brian (Elsy). She was the proud grandmother of Heather (Greg), Julia (Derek), Alison, Arthur, Nye, Alexander, Gabriella, Adrianna, Joshua, Blake and Josie. She was also a proud great grandmother to Lily, Emilia and Olivia. Eileen was a tireless volunteer in her community and, among her many accomplishments, she was a Girl Guide leader when her children were young. She volunteered with Community Care for 25 years delivering for Meals on Wheels. Eileen was very involved in her church and was president of the Ladies Auxiliary Group and later Clerk of Session for St Andrew's Church of Bowmanville. In her later years she enjoyed travelling to Europe, the Caribbean and Alaska. She was an avid fan of any sporting event where one of her children or grand- children were participants. She was also an avid bowler for 50 years. Incredibly social, there was scarcely a door she could walk through in her community where she didn't know someone.
