20 We asked photographer Jason Liebregts to give us his favourite photos of the year. Here's what he had to say. "The opportunities for photography continued to be marked by people separated and face masks and other challenges. But there were some chances for photos that left an impression. From rallies touching on the worst of the pandemic, top right, to a fire victim who became emotional, top left, to Elder Kim Wheatley singing a song, bottom left, as the Town of Ajax marked Truth and Reconciliation Day by installing a new flag pole that will fly the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation flag at town hall. To round things out, a photo on the water with Pickering Dragon Boat Club members, bottom right, and a photo at the ARC skate park in Ajax, middle right, were some of my favourites."
