This year due to COVID-19 the Brooklin Legion will be holding a private Remembrance Day ceremony. Remembrance Day in Brooklin This year, when you see a local Legion representative promoting the Annual Poppy Campaign, please give generously. The Brooklin Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion is a local long standing organization. Funds raised through Legion initiatives have historically gone to a variety of charities. From children's sports and school programs to senior's medical services, the Legion has been behind countless donations for the betterment of our community. Though things are different this year, the poppy campaign continues. You will see veterans, physically distancing, at poppy boxes in many of our stores. The Brooklin Legion is also selling lawn signs to commemorate the day along with t-shirts and a limited number of poppy masks. Please show your support by wearing your poppy and thanking a veteran. AT THE GOING DOWN OF THE SUN AND IN THE MORNING, WE WILL REMEMBER THEM. WE WILL REMEMBER THEM.
