This frame house located at 208 Byron Street South was built in 1868 by John Agnew at the north-west corner of Byron and Dunlop Streets. From 1882 until 1951, it was the rectory for All Saints' Anglican Church.

Russell M. Preston was a Whitby resident for 44 years and enjoyed taking photographs of buildings around Whitby.
