- James & Lillian Kirk about to leave for their honeymoon in July 1945. Picture taken on Perry Street in Whitby. The car was a 1931 Ford Model A. The plan was to honeymoon in Niagara Falls, but too many flat tires forced them to go only as far as Toronto where they stayed at the Royal York Hotel.
