Jacor Marketing Award (Valedictorian) - Carsten Trotter Awarded to the Brooklin High School Valedictorian. The Valedictorian was nominated and selected by the Brooklin High School graduating class. Jacor Equity Award - Sydney MacLeod This award is given to the student who best exemplifies student equity by taking measures to prevent bullying and promote inclusion within the student body. Lieutenant Governor's Community Volunteer Award - Garret Hughes Awarded to a graduating student who has demonstrated exemplary community contribution or outstanding achievement through volunteer activity. Markham Industrial Award - Matthew Cornish To a graduating student who has completed four credits in technological education and is pursuing a career or is enrolled in a postsecondary program in the field of technology. Mayor's Medal - Margaret MacEachern Awarded to a graduating student who has displayed leadership, academic excellence and good citizenship. The recipient is selected by the school and is awarded to the Grade 12 graduate who has demonstrated out- standing leadership, academics and good citizenship qualities. Moffat and Duncan Architects Award - Keegan Mongru Awarded to the graduating student who is pursuing a post-secondary education in architecture, engineering or design. Ontario Power Generation (OPG) Award - Peter Kastanas and Laura Southwood Awarded to two graduating students continuing to post-secondary studies in one of the following: Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Environment, Math, Physics. They must have strong oral & written skills, leadership skills, a minimum B average and are involved in extra-curricular and/or community volunteerism. Ontario Principal's Council Secondary School Scholarship - Aiden Woodward and Jacob Meloche The Ontario Principals' Council Scholarship Award is provided to graduating students who demonstrate aca- demic excellence, extensive involvement in co-curricular activities and proven distinction in community in- volvement. Rotary Club of Whitby and Brooklin Bursary - Taryn Byers, Emma Lord, Lily Surette This award recognizes the "whole" student based on several criteria including community involvement, school involvement, extra-curricular activities, part-time employment, and overall life achievements. Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) Agriculture Award - Natalie Mulcahy Awarded to a graduating student who has earned their SHSM Red Seal and who has made a significant contribution to the program.
