To support the election, the Town has launched its call for election workers as more than 150 people will be scheduled to work at desig- nated voting locations. Voting loca- tions will be set up at local schools and community gathering places throughout the Town. Interested residents can apply for positions and find more information - including position descriptions and duties, qualifica- tions, work hours, training and pay rates - at whitby.ca/ vote. The deadline to apply is June 14, 2018, at 4:30 p.m. Only those select- ed for an interview will be contacted. Interviews will take place in late June and early July. Some of the i m p o r t a n t p o s i t i o n s being hired for include Vote Tabulator Operator, Deputy Returning Officer, Poll Clerk, Revi- sion Clerk and Greeters.
