Public speaking wasn't a weakness but it wasn't a strength either, and in her new professional role, she thought there was room to improve. "I wanted to become more comfortable speaking up at meetings or just speaking off-the-cuff without having to prepare," says Ms. Igli, a member of the Brooklin Toastmasters Club for the past three years.
