- Notes
- The Hewson (Huseon, Huston) family lived in Brookin, Ontario. Ambrose Hewson was born on 1 January 1851 and died at Oshawa, Ontario on 17 April 1935. He married Jemima Hannam (10 August 1853 - 4 September 1943) on 1 July 1874 at Oshawa, Ontario. They had eleven children: William Henry (1875-1960), Frederick Wellington (1876-?), Carrie May (1879-1937), Jessie Adora (1881-1944), Edith (1883-?), Samuel (1885-?), James Alfred (1887-1950), Beatrice (1889-1917), Walter (1891-1972), Luella (1893-1910) and Hazel Marie (1896-1948). Mr. and Mrs. Hewson are buried at Groveside Cemetery, Brooklin, Ontario.
