- A black and white photograph of "Bayside" barn, located north of "Bayside" house. This picture shows the completed barn. Several unidentified people are standing outside the barn and there is also a horse outside the barn.
- Notes
- The "Bayside" property was owned from 1838 to 1888 by William Gordon. From 1888 until 1912 the property was inhabited by John Smith. In the summer of 1901, Mr. Smith built a barn north of his home on the site where the Ontario Hospital nurses' residence was later located. In 1912, the property was purchased by the provincial government for the Ontario Hospital (later known as the Whitby Psychiatric Hospital).
