Notes
The Brooklin Memorial Arena was located at 67 Winchester Road East. It was built in 1948 at the west end of the community park on the south side of Winchester Road as a memorial to Whitby Township's soldiers killed in the First and Second World Wars. It was built by volunteer labour from buildings salvaged from Ajax after the Second World War and officially opened on November 6, 1949. Under safety regulations by the Ontario Government issued in 1972 the arena was condemned and demolished. It was replaced by a new arena in 1973.
