The names of this class are recorded in "100 years of Brooklin Schools, page 19. the copy in the book is a slightly differenc version and most of the teacher is cut off as well as a pupil on the left. This book is available at the Whitby Archives, the main Whitby Public Library and the Brooklin branch

Dear Whitby Public Library, I am researching the family of John BLAIR & his wife Margaret ARMSTRONG who arrived from Selkirkshire, Scotland in Upper Canada at Windsor Harbour (Whitby) in 1836. John Blair was my husband's great-great-great-grandfather. I know that Helen Alvers, who recently posted a message reg. the Class Photo, Room 3, Brooklin Public and Continuation School, 1926, is researching the same family. Could you please get her to make contact with me at Thank you Dani Blair, New Zealand
