Description
A black and white photograph of buildings on the south side of Mill Street (Cassels Road). At left is the W.J. Murray tannery. Next to the tannery is Brooklin Mill. At right is the Methodist Church. In the foreground is a bridge over Lynde Creek.
Notes
The W.J. Murray Tannery burned down in June 1890. The brick mill was built in 1848 by Robert Campbell. The Methodist Church was built in 1867 and was located at the south east corner of Mill Street and Princess Street.
