Dundas Street School, 1875-1949

Dundas Street School was built in 1875 on the north side of Dundas Street west of Garden Street. It was also known as the model school because it was built as a training facility for new teachers. The building was demolished in the early 1960s but additions from the 1950s remained and were renamed Florence Heard Public School in 1974. This group contains images of class photographs from 1875-1949 (dates comply with copyright restrictions).
