Description
A black and white photograph of Dundas Street (Highway 2) downtown Whitby. Sign for "Chrysler Plymouth" can be made out to the right. Also a sign for "TAXI"; "Hotel Whitby"; "O-K Cafe"; "Whitby Cafe"; "DIANA"; "Restaurant"; "Rexall Drugs"; "Allin's". There are cars parked along the side of the road and people crossing the street.

Graydon M. Goodfellow framed this photograph and presented it to the Whitby Chamber of Commerce in 1949.
