- A black and white photograph of J. Heard & Son's Whitby Garage. Standing in front of the garage from left to right are: Willis, Tom Cowell, Charles Lavery (Chief of Police), unidentified person, unidentified person.
- Notes
- Joseph Heard and Sons' garage was located at 124 Brock Street North (at the north west corner of Brock and Elm streets). This building was formerly the Ontario Hotel. Joseph Heard and Sons' Garage was located here from 1910 to 1970. Mr. Heard put brick veneer over the old frame hotel when he converted it into a garage. Destroyed by fire, September 13, 2017 and demolished.
