Description
A black and white photograph of 4 men and a child standing in front of the Flatiron Building. Three stores can be seen in the building from left to right: grocery store, harness maker, coal dealer (and ticket and telegraph agent.
Notes
This building was located at 128 Brock Street South on the north west corner of Brock and Colborne Streets. It was a one-storey building. At the time of this picture, the left store is owned by W.B. Pringle, Grocer, centre store by Fred Jones, Harness Maker and on the right E.R. Blow, Coal Dealer, Ticket and Telegraph Agent. At left of picture is an unidentified boy. Others in picture from left to right are: William Meeker, W.B. Pringle (*standing behind W. Meeker), Fred Cornish, Fred Jones, and E.R. Blow.
Inscriptions
In front of grocery store" "SEEDS". On window of middle store: "F. JONES" "HARNESS MAKER". On store to the right: "E.R. BLOW SCRANTON COAL OFFICE"
