- A black and white photograph of J.E. Waterhouse Grocery store. At the right of the photograph are wooden stores. and there are two boys standing in front of the doors. Inside the doorway to the shop there are three people standing. Mr. Waterhouse is at the left of the doorway.
- Notes
- This grocery store was located at 106 Brock Street North (on the west side of Brock Street, one door north of Allin's Drug Store. The wooden doors at the right of the photograph close off a passageway for deliveries to the back of the stores.
- Inscriptions
- Sign above store reads: "J.E. WATERHOUSE." Sign on awning reads: "GROCERIES JNO. E. WATERHOUSE FRUITS." Signs to left and right of store says: "ECLIPSE SOAP CHOICE GROCERIES." Sign under buckt reads "SEEDS."
