- Brock Street looking north. View of stores and shops. On the left side of the street the Royal Hotel can be seen, Hatch, W.C. Wlaters and Dominion Ware Rooms. There are boxes piled up in front of Dominion Warerooms. There is a clock between Hatch and W.C. Walters storefronts. Also a street light and horse drawn carriages and people walking along the sidewalk.

- This print is from a special edition of the Saturday Globe featuring Whitby and Oshawa dated October 26, 1889. The electric light at left was installed in 1889.
