Description
A lithograph of a three-storey brick building with a block at the top of the building that says 1874. On the main floor of the building is the storefront for Hatch and Brother's Hardware (and Appliances) Store.
Notes
This three-storey brick store was located at 111 Brock Street North (on the east side of Brock Street, north of Dundas Street). It was operated by Samuel and Richard Hatch and later Samuel's sons Fred and Frank Hatch from 1874 to 1904. The business was founded in Whitby about 1864. This lithograph was printed in the Whitby Chronicle.
