- Mr. Peter Perry and Mrs. Mary Ham Perry and their family moved to Whitby in October 1836, where Peter was one of the leading builders in Whitby. They had 9 children: Cinderella Perry (1815-1901), Sarah Jane Perry, Ann Perry, Hannah Minerva Perry (1820-1846); Mary Ann Perry (1821-1885), Jemima Louisa Perry (1823-1846), Robert Ebenezer Perry (1825-1894), John Ham Perry (1827-1896), and Sarah Eliza Perry (1829-1846).
