A black and white photograph of 1011 Dundas St. W. (lot 32, concession 1). View is of the front of the house.

Notes

John Joshua Fothergill purchased the north part of lot 32, concession 1, Whitby Township, in 1882 at the time of his marriage and built the house in 1883. It was designed by Whitby architect, Albert Asa Post. He conducted a successful farm there on the south side of Dundas Street until his death in Whitby Township on June 29, 1908. The house was moved closer to the road circa 1987 and demolished in 1994.
