Description
A photograph taken at Wesleyan Methodist Cemetery in Oshawa.
Notes
Around 1842 the land was conveyed to the Wesleyan Methodist Church as a site of a chapel and burial ground. In 1949 the stones were gathered together and placed in a cairn and this was done by Simcoe Street United Church, Oshawa. The Wesleyan Methodist Cemetery is located on Bond Street in Oshawa but is now called Pioneer Memorial Gardens.
