Our family, James Kirk family, lived next door to this house in the 1950,s at 1710 Charles. Before my parents purchased our first TV set, I would go to the McCoy,s on Saturday mornings to watch their TV. Blake farmed a few acres of his property as did my Dad. At this time, only three houses occupied the west side of Charles Street. The Rowe house, The McCoy house, and the Kirk house.
