- A black and white photograph of Peel Park. View is looking east from Peel Street.
- Notes
- The land for Peel Park at the south end of Peel Street near Burns Street, was purchased by the Town of Whitby in 1939 and used for many years as a dump site. The dump was closed in 1958 and the land was converted to a recreational park. The Kinsmen Club of Whitby helped construct facilities there in the 1960s.
