Pm0ie Cone 'Wreath the i MATERIALS FOR EASY LINOLEUM PASTE WREATH Cortes and pods, as for the wired wreath Ring base (cut from solid plywood at the lumber yard or ordinary corrugated cardboard at home) Linoleum paste Wire, for hanging Clear plastic or gold spray DIRECTIONS FOR LINOLEUM PASTE WREATH Attach wire for hanging to plywood base. Spread a thick layer of linoleum paste on base and proceed with your design as in wired wreath, placing larger cones first. Dip additional pieces in paste as needed. Luckily, linoleum paste dries a dark brown, almost the color of pine cones, so you don't have to fuss and fret. Set finished wreath aside to dry for at least 24 hours before spraying'. Spray with several coats of clear plastic. Or gold. 1 wouldn't dream of burying a nieticulously wired wvreath under a heavy-handed coat of gold, but in this case, why not? The effect is marvelously opulent, Victorian, and, to be sure, Christmasy-great for quickie wreaths for friends or the church bazaar. For an even jiffier project, try a smnall gilded 8-inch or 10- inch solid plaque. (You can work these on ordinary throwaway pie plates.)
