The ratepayers wiil sponsor an elec- tion Forum (if it is necessary) on October 29 at Dr. Robt. Thor- ton School. Let me refresh peoples' mincis concernlng the Corridor Batepayers Association. The organization was formeci andi chartereci in 1972. We are a non-political group and as such do not, as an association, sponsor any candidate for election, be it federal, municipal or provincial. This is as it shoulci be. Each person, members of the association, have the right and privilege te select the can- didate or party of their choice. The executive is there not to tell people what they must think, but to listen te area resident concerns andi help in any way possible. It is an organization where people help people. When residents are apathetic they are criticizeci, when they speak up they are citicizeci. If you can'T WIN ANYWAY, YOU MAY AS WELL BE CRITICIZED FOR EXPRESSING YOUR CONCERNS. Everyone is entitieci to their own opinions.
