This suggestion is one of five that regional staff have drafted for subîission to the Ontario governînent task force headed by MPP Margaret Scrivener. Durham's submission will also ask the task force to consider the joint usage of Canadian National and Canadian Pacifie as a means of extending GO train service in the region. Electrification of the rail lines throughout Ontario is another possibility that the task force might investigate, the report says. One of the major benefits derived f rom such a suggestion would be that oul would no longer have to lie used as fuel for rail tran- sportation, planners say.
