UKRANIAN EGG DECORATING On Saturday, March 29 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. the Whitby Public Library will present Mary Salmers giving a demonstration of the Ukranian egg decorating art, "pysanka."' OSTOMY ASSOCIATION The Oshawa and District Ostomny Association; a self- help; moral-support group of volunteers who offer assistance to those who have undergone or are awaiting ostomy surgery. Next meeting will be Wed- nesday, March 19 in roomn 10 (Please note change in room for this meeting) at the Oshawa General Hospital at 7:45 p.m. Dr. Cohen, will speak about the "Kock" pouch, the newest in ostomy surgery which enables the patient to be free of an outside ostomy appliance. CHARITY AUCTION On Saturday, March 22, the Ajax-Pickering-Whitby Association for the Mentally Retarded will hold a charity auction at the Ajax High School starting at il a. m. Items for sale will include new merchandise donated by area merchants as well as used items, antiques and collectables.
