Evan Kitamnura was in net for a 3-1 victory over Barrie and an 8-0 shutout over Clarington, while Rich Sanders goaltended for a 10- 1 thumping of Markham. The Barrie victory was sweet revenge, since Whitby lost 4-3 in their previous game when Barrie timed out the gamne with over four minutes remnaining and Whitby came on strong, rebouncling from a 4-1 deficit. Not only did the strong defensive squad of Ryan MeLeod, Ryan Clumpus, Ryan Leacocke, Don Campbell, Paul Matusiak, Evan Cardwell and Daniel Bescoe hold off the opposition, but they contributed four goals -- two by Peacocke and singles by Cardwell and McLeod.
