The dance, that will in- clude an elimiination draw, will be a fundraiser for the Whitby Publie Library. Sponsoring the, event is Whitby Business in Action (WBA), the organization of businesses forýmed earlier this jear. WBA also pro- vided free transit. during the County Town Carnival. Tickets for the dance are $50 -per person -or $80 per Rodeo fin als inClarigto The concert is hosted by' the Durham Philliarmonic Choir. Ickets at the door are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, $8 for students and $5 for children. OYC is the flagship performing, body -of the Ontario Choral Federation, a non-profit arts service organization dedicated to the promotion of choral music ini Ontarlo. Each year for the past 25 years, singers between ages 16 and 22 from acrosa the province have been chosen to become part. of the choir. The choristers meet for il days at thé end of August for an intensive trai.ning period. when they have the opportunity to study with talented choral musiciansa and vocal coaches.
