Kuwait professors graduate .from college Durham College is holding a special ceremony for its graduating Kuwait students today (Wednesday>. To meet the needs of employer. and provide relevant education with current competitive job skills, the Kuwait Public Authority of Applied Education & Training is changing their procega of curriculum development. The .curriculum development being studied is sinilar to the system used at Durham College. Since the 'beginning cf July, 18 professors from Kuwait College & Training Institutes have been attending Durham College and will be celebrating the completion cf a curriculum development program for vocationally oriented fraininig. The goal of the project was to develop skills in the area cf task analysis and then apply the analyuis -to the development of training profiles. The Kuwait delegates were able te apply hands-on techniques.te actual work processes and experience their task analysis akilla by to>uring and observing local industries in Durham Region. The companies involved were *General . Motors, Chrysler Canada, Halco Building - Components, Alderbrook Industries, Nemate Compos 'ites Imc., MacDonald. -Restaurants and Oshawa General Hospital.
