Seamone was second i the 100-metre and 200-metre back- stroke events for boys aged 10 and under, and his performance i the 200-metre evrent qualified for the Ontario championships. Eric Chan, in the same divi- sion,« was second i 100-metre butterfly (Ontario qualifying) and fourth in 5-metre fly and 100-metre breaststroke (Ontario qualifying). Jshi Pando i the same divi- sion, was thirâ in 100-metre free- style and 50-metre butterfly, but also qua]ified. for the Ontario championships in 200-metre backstroke. The meet was the first in the long course season, and was used by most of the 23 teains entered as a chance to gain experience racig long course after coming off the short-course season. In the final, Whitby defeated Stouffville 5-2 as Mike K obno- vich scored twice and Aarn Rinaldi was solid i net. Chris Van Dusen, Scott Cook and Stefan Hass also scored.
