Council gave a three-year con- tract for the advertising te 'Street Level Media' in 1993 but the department terminated it after one year because the firm «did not perform te our expec- tations.» Broadview Advertising of Toronto has guaranteed the tewn MILsU $1,000 a year, regardiess of the number of signa sold; it wiil pay $300 a year for each of the 56 proposedasign spaoes it sella. flroadview beat out a proposai from Brooklin Bulletin, which bid- $70.88 a space. A bid from Whitby Arena Fundraising Asso- ciationi (WAFA) could not be con- sidered because they did not complete their proposai.
