Power from the facility wili be sold to Ontario Hydro under a twenty year sales agreement and steam generated from the waste heat will be used for processing recycled paper at the Atlantic Packaging Produots LUd. Mill in Whitby. The facility is being deveioped for Whitby Cogeneration Limited Partnership by Westcoast Power Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Westcoast Energy Inc. of Vancouver, B.C. Westcoast Power is also a partner in the projeot which is expected to start supplying power by December, 1996.
