'Fragrant' seminar The Oshawa Sydenhamn Museum in Lakeview Park is hosting a seminar entitled 'Fragrant Harvest.' Patricia Bate will discuss the preservation of herbs and their various uses in Victorian life. A few of the topics to, be covered will be wreaths, lavender wands, recipes for vinegars and potpourris, as well as the pressing of flowers. The seminar wilI be held on three dates, Sept. 21, 24 and 25, from 2 to 3 p.m. The cost is $2 payable on the day of the seminar. Space is imited so register early by calling 436-7624.
