Mall's Miracle Mart store to close down ByMike Kowalski The Mfiracle Food Mart store in the Whitby Mail will be clos- ing next month. BIh Shine, vice-president of marketing for parent company A&P Canada, confirmed last week that the Thickson Road store will close Sept. 17. Business reasons were soiely behind the decision not te renew the store'slease Shine said. A three-month strike by Mira- cle Mart workers earlier this year had ne bearing on the cern- pns thinking he insisted. "It waslargeiy because we aise, own the A&P store across the street,» said Shine. «It mnade sense te, do it when the lease ran eut. It was just a business decision » he said.
