Mondeo Cafe will specialize in pasta and pizza dishes but wili aIse have veal, chicken and steak dishes. The cafe will cater te a clien- tele of about aged 25 and eider. "There will be dancing and music but nothing tee loud or extreme, more like your iight rock 'n' roll-type atmosphere,» says Albis. To symbolize the friendship between Whitby and Weicheng the Chinese are erecting a botel aund a hospital. The hospital may be named after Norman Beth- une,. the Canadian doctor who did much for the Chnese before and after their revolution. Shepherd says local business has already been successfiul in- creasing sales in the thriving Chinese market.
