JuIv 27, 1994 James Mullane, a six-year resident of Whitby who was at the top of his class in Ontario amateur boxing despite having taken up the sport only recently, bas returned to Wales. James, bis pnarents and sister left Canada fast .Thursday for Cardiff, Wales where James' father was te start a new job. James Muliane, 16, had e rier this*year won the Ontario rovioe junior welterweight chani ion- sbiv after a spectacular showing -- ali knockouts -- in winni.ng his brevious matches. Muilane was a member of the new Motor City Boxing Club begun in Oshawa by Don Nelson, who adiits he was sbocked by the news that Mullane was returning to Wales.
