Peterborough broke eut early and teok a coniranding 5-1 lead inte the third period but Whitby fought back in the third and was able te, close the gap te 5-4 with time running out. In the closing seconds Whitby had some goed opportunities but was unable te notch the equalizer. Scorers for Whitby were Stevenson with two, Robert Lalonde with one and Steven Farquharson with the other.
