Thieves walked off with a rack of 20 silk shirts valued at $700 from a men's wear store at the Whitby Mall while the lone clerk was distiacted. The Frederick's For Men clerk told police ho went te the back of the store te assist a customer, described as an Oriental man, with afpair of pants. As he was helping the man, the clerk says he noticed another man, aIse, Oriental, enter the store and look at the silk shirts while a woman he was with waited at the maIl entrance. The frst man eventually deci- ded net te buy the pants and left. By this time the other man and woman were aise gone, the clerk told police.
